I don’t know about you guys, but so far, this is one of my favorite cartoons.
…And now I want some Thin Mints! If only Girl Scout Cookies were still in season.

Amaizing Jim Corn facebook friends found out about this on Saturday.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS: For anyone in the North Texas area, I’ll be appearing at The Dallas Webcomics Expo on August 6th. It’s at the Southfork Hotel in Plano, TX. Come and see me and meet a lot of other fun comic creators, as well!
I know my reader from Hamilton, Ohio probably won’t make it, but thanks for stopping by to read Jim Corn!
Hi Corn Friends!
Summer has just started and I’m already deep into my movie junkie mode (again). I’ve taken in all of the latest summer action movies (X-men was great!) and I’m rewatching the Harry Potter movies with my boys in preparation of the final installment. Also, I’ve been spending my late nights watching a bunch of great, old movies I never got around to seeing or saw so long ago I don’t remember them (The Searchers, Chinatown, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Last Picture Show, The Astronaut Farmer). Even rewatched an old favorite: Monty Python and the Holy Grail. …And the great thing is, I got all of these movies at the LIBRARY! (plug) Check out this IMDB movie list and see how many of the top 250 you’ve seen and then see what your local library has available. I’m working on filling in the gaps of my cinematic knowledge (I’ve only seen 120 of the top 250). You might also want to check out this list of Academy Awards Best Picture winners and nominees . Happy Summer movie watching!
Also, a hearty Hello to the Jim Corn reader in Cocoa, Florida! Thanks for continuing to stop by and “see” you all next week.
In case you’re wondering, the pig is eating some tasty grubs. MMMMM!
Another fun thing about doing a web comic is that I get to use Google Analytics. The program has a map feature and I can click on the country and see what cities my readers live in. Today I’d like to give a special shout out to a reader in Shelbyville, Kentucky (You know who you are!), and also to a reader in Melbourne, Australia (You know who you are, but probably not the person in Shelbyville.). Thanks for stopping on by!
